Working with Jim on a half Ironman triathlon plan was a joy in 2021.  

By first meeting and setting goals and talking about the upcoming season, fears and hopes- we had a plan of attack. He had swim and strength/lifting technique sessions with me in person to start things off right for form. The strength and stretch plan provided helped me endure the 9 months with no new injuries. 

With an existing achilles aggravation, we started the run plan slow but steadily ending the season with race run PRs as well as a renewed confidence in distance running and interval work.

 His extensive biking knowledge and experience allowed me to trust then complete the months of indoor and outdoor bike workouts without doubts. Tips on climbing, breathing, pacing and pedaling as well as offers to ride with coach all raise your game. 

 I finished two half IM s and the triple bypass ride in CO, as well as many Omaha based tri s this year. Thanks to a quality plan, help with motivation to be more consistent with more weekly workouts than I had ever done, and frequent communication—— we did it! Next year, a sub 6 hour 70.3 is one of my next goals. (50- 55 age group female).

With no youth swim background, I became a much stronger swimmer by focusing on the strength plan, pull drills and intervals in a pool.
